A New Wave……

The disability of the current government to govern the matters of the state has started a new wave of vandalism. In the past decade we as the residents of twin cities have witnessed a variety of social evils generated in response to the corruption and mismanagement of our government. This time people have turned into street hooligans and vandals to destroy the property of other nationals. The upper class in not affected by all this, only the middle class and the lower working class is badly affected. It has become difficult to reach working places in time, to come back home in time and the most important is the safety of the public property. I have witnessed young school boys throwing stones at general people who have nothing to do with whatever is going around. It’s difficult to understand from where this is coming, why our people can’t understand that they are destroying their own motherland. If you have to protest then find someplace where it’s affective and keep it as peaceful as possible. May Allah bless our nation with social responsibility and use their authority at right place i.e. when they are asked to vote for the right person.

Jago Meray Shaheeno Jago

As a Pakistani, the most disturbing factor for me in the two incidents of Abbottabad Attack and NATO attack is the response of our Air Force (“Humaray Shaheen”). Where were they? What were they doing? Why did not they come to the rescue? In Abbottabad attacks one can understand the dilemma, where our leaders might be involved in the plan. But, what happened when two Apaches attacked our sovereignty and integrity. They flew in our air space for hours and kept shooting at our soldiers. The most terrifying question is the absence of our Air support, where was it when it was needed the most. Foot soldiers could not have fought or shot down those nasty killing machines with propellers. I salute those brave hearts to face that reign of fire and not have abandoned their post. I believe they must have called for air support and would have waited and prayed for it but it never showed up.

I pray that all my doubts about Pakistani Air Force are wrong and I believe that next time if some one violates Pakistani air space, our fighter planes will be there to respond. ‘Jago meray shaheeno jago’.

Let us stay, we have found a new reason

After the proclaimed death of Osama Bin Laden, the US government needed a new reason to stay in this region, and yes they found one in the form of ‘Haqani’ group. Again, Pakistan is being used and on the global forum we are once again tagged as supporters of terrorism, yet we have suffered the most and paid the price of american rule in form of our blood.

I really hope and pray, that this time our Army and our government stand up against these American demands and let them find another reason to stay in this region for oil and other mineral resources they are really after.

Pakistani people have really paid a heavy price for this so called war against terrorism, which was actually created by the US government to win their cold war.

Its the right time to undo the mistakes we made in the past and now is the moment to finally say ‘NO’.
